Description of the job

An offer entitled Cost engineer (m/f) has just been opened within Airbus Helicopters at its Marignane site.

You will join the Performance improvement FAL H160 team in charge of monitor and improve H160 global performance (cost, leadtime, productivity, ergonomy, quality…)

The employee will be responsible of monitoring the FAL H160 costs and implement improvement plan.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will contribute to the following main activities:

Industrial Cost
# Consolidate the helicopter estimated costs (including standard and customization parts),
# Follow up the actual cost during the manufacturing phase, identify deviations between estimated-calculated and realized Recurring Cost, define corrective actions,
# Identify cost reduction options, and corresponding investments, prepare arguments,
# Steer the progress of such cost reduction actions with relevant stakeholders,
# Represent the product for the communication of cost items (Industrial Price, quotations, cost awareness…),
# Analyze workshop economical performance (cost impact of non-quality, productivity, …),

Work In Progress
# Monthly elaboration of the WIP Key Performance Indicator with finance department,
# Analyze and identify deviations (lead-time, cost, …),
# Monitor WIP reduction actions

Hourly Rate
# Consolidate the hourly estimated costs
# Follow up the actual hourly rates, dentify deviations between estimated-calculated and realized hourly rate, define corrective actions,
# Identify hourly rate options, and corresponding investments, prepare arguments,
# Steer the progress of such hourly rate actions with relevant stakeholders,

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

• 2 to 3 years’ experience in Finance
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Information systems
• Knowledge of Excel, SAP
• DELMIA & MES could be a plus
• Rigor, organizational skills
• Anticipation skills
• Team spirit

Language skills :

English: intermediate
