Description of the job

A vacancy for a Configuration and associated processes and tools Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Safran Launchers in Les Mureaux.

The Configuration Management section (JLEE1) is in charge of managing the documentation related to Ariane 5 and Ariane 6 Launchers.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Within this context, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Defining and implementing Ariane 5 Launcher configuration management methods, processes and related tools along the entire product life cycle to ensure the availability and consistency of relevant data and product/services configuration,
·  Being the Ariane 5 programme project leader in front of the Process Methods & Tools (PMT) department in the frame of the PLM Transformation project, aiming at specifying the needs, testing releases, adapting the internal process and the consistency customers (Arianespace, ESA, CNES) management specification, support its implementation of the Ariane 5 programme;
·  Being connected and in charge of an operational configuration perimeter of activities (CM portfolio), in order to be able to suggest improvements by yourself.

This role will involve one-off travels for business in France and Germany and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to 5 years Degree level (or equivalent) in Project Management,
·  3 years of experience in information systems and project management ,
·  Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management is a plus,
·  Experience in data base architecture: Windchill (PTC) and Team Center (Siemens)
·  Negociation level of English and French.
