Description of the job

A vacancy for a Compliance Manager – Independent Compliance Review Panel (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac. You will join Ethics and Compliance Department.
Airbus is committed to conducting its business with honesty and integrity, in accordance with all local and international laws and regulations. The Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (“CECO”) is responsible for overseeing and promoting the Airbus culture of integrity and transparency by assuring that the Company's international business activities conform with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and ethical rules.
Airbus has appointed an Independent Compliance Review Panel (the “Panel”) consisting of eminent compliance experts. This Panel assists the Group, and in particular the Ethics & Compliance Function, to further improve its compliance processes, policies, organisation and culture. The Panel carries out a thorough review of the Group, generating required input on a myriad of topics and resulting in numerous follow-up and implementation activities.
The HO Transformation Projects manages the work with the Panel in close coordination with the CECO and the General Counsel and other internal stakeholders. He is now looking to recruit a talented, versatile and motivate manager to assist and support on the Panel related work.
You will report to the HO Transformation Projects.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  supporting the design/preparation/implementation of Panel's Work Plan,
·  assessing requests from the Panel and ensures appropriate follow-up in close coordination with the CECO and the HO Transformation Projects,
·  supporting the analysis and implementation of suggestions and formal recommendations received from the Panel and ensures follow-up and implementation,
·  organizing meetings and briefing of participants; collects material requested upfront and provides in-meeting support,
·  manages the action tracker and other internal documentation,
·  contributing to preparation of minutes of meeting and other required reporting documentation
·  coordinating with external advisors,
·  contributing to the relationship management with other/external stakeholders (banks, third party stakeholders, financial institutions,...)

More generally, executes such other functions as are delegated by the GECO/HO Transformation Projects .

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Master degree in business law, business/commerce, international relations or similar, with excellent academic credentials,
·  At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience,
·  Knowledge of the Ethics & Compliance environment,
·  Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously,
·  Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills,
·  Ability to work independently but also as part of team in a fast-paced and demanding environment,
·  High degree of integrity, discretion and trust,
·  Language skills: negotiation level of English, knowledge of French or German is a plus.
