Description of the job

A vacancy for a Compliance Manager – European Export Credit (m/f) have arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac. You will join Ethics and Compliance Department.
Airbus is committed to conducting its business with honesty and integrity, in accordance with all local and international laws and regulations. The Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer (CECO) is responsible for overseeing and promoting the Airbus culture of integrity and transparency by assuring that the Company's international business activities conform with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and ethical rules.
The HO Transformation Projects reports to the CECO and is in charge of a number of major and long term projects in the immediate remit of the CECO, including the management of the relationship with several European export credit agencies and an extensive ABC risk assessment across the Airbus group. For these projects the team is now looking to recruit a dynamic and versatile Compliance Manager.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

1-Contributing to the ongoing interactions with the Export Credit Agencies and their advisors with a view to facilitating export credit support for Airbus and its divisions, including:
o Contributing to identify, select, and assess files suitable for an application,
o Managing weekly team calls: preparation of topics to address; follow-up of action items; minutes and action tracker,
o Preparing internal declarations and collection thereof,
o Preparing final application documentation with Customer Finance.

2-Supporting on group-wide ABC Risk Assessment, in particular:
o Reviewing and commenting all documents received, identify actions and follow-up on them,
o Preparing and following-up of weekly meetings with external advisors on Risk Assessment,
o Ensuring input into Enterprise Risk Management and alignment with related activities,
o Contributing to dissemination of recommendations and follow-up on implementation,
o Contributing to internalization of capabilities and roll out of reviews in future years
more generally, executing such other functions related to Ethics & Compliance as are delegated by the CECO/HO Transformation Projects .

This role will involve some travel for business in and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Master degree in business law business/commerce, international relations or similar, with excellent academic credentials,
·  At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience,
·  Knowledge of the Ethics & Compliance environment and of risk assessment/mitigation is a plus,
·  Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously,
·  Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills,
·  Ability to work independently but also as part of team in a fast-paced and demanding environment,
·  High degree of integrity, discretion and trust,
·  Language Skills: negotiation level of English, French or German would be a plus.
