Description of the job

A vacancy for a Citrix Specialist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the Information Management department.
Information Management (IM) delivers the expertise, technology and equipment for Airbus Space and Aerospace products - We make it fly!

Tasks & accountabilities

As our specialist on Citrix technologies, will be responsible to support all designs and implementations of these technologies in the French perimeter.
Modelling of complex Business problems, discovering Business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of typical Citrixtechnologies will be in your response as well.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

¤ Work with Business stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome.
¤ Model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact on critical business processes and/or decisions.
¤ Collaborate with Business subject matter experts to select the relevant sources of information
¤ Identify what services are relevant.
¤ Identifies the right Citrix Tools, in line with the CITRIX experts, which are relevant to deliver the most appropriate solution design.
¤ Work with IT teams to support service integration, and retention requirements based on the input collected with the business.
¤ Work in iterative processes with the Business and validates services.
¤ Develop experimental design approaches to validate finding or test hypotheses.
¤ Assess, with the business, the expected qualification and assurance of the information in support of the use case.
¤ Define the validity of the information, how long the information is meaningful, and what other information it is related to.
¤ Work with Security to ensure that the solution established is in compliance with the regulatory and security policies in place.
¤ Recommend ongoing improvements to needed Citrix based services that lead to findings, including it in the services portfolio.
¤ Communicate and work with business subject matter experts.
¤ Educate the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on new process approaches, such as usability hypotheses and validation of new
ideas. Help the organization understand the principles behind the process to drive organizational buy-in.
¤ Support actively a "Work together" approach between teams working on an ITIL based model and new teams working more on Agile model.
¤ Provide on-going tracking and monitoring of performance decision systems and statistical models (dashboarding)
¤ Troubleshoot and implement enhancements and fixes to systems as needed.

This role could involve occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 4 year degree in Information Technology
·  Minimum 5 or more years of relevant Citrix experience
·  Solid knowledge of Citrix technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler,
·  Proficiency in the use of different hypervisor technologies.
·  Experience in Agile project methodologies is a plus (i.e. SCRUM)
·  Business focus, strong analytical and problem solving skills to be able to quickly cycle hypothesis through the discovery phase of the project
·  Excellent written and communications skills to report back the findings in a clear, structured manner are required.

A negotiation level of English is required.
