Description of the job
A vacancy for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Technical Assistant (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Group in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the office of the chief of staff to the CTO.
This job involves some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Tasks & accountabilities
As the CTO Technical Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
· Preparing technical analyses to support CTO activities, including analytical surveys of internal Airbus Group activities and projects and external aerospace ecosystem activities and projects; conducting first-order analyses based on physics and engineering principles,
· Preparing analyses of key technology trends and technology roadmaps relating to Airbus Group products and product domains,
· Participating in deep-dive assessments of individual technologies, technology demonstrators, or Research & Technology (R&T) projects,
· Preparing, accompanying, and managing after-actions for the CTO's meetings, including providing briefs, summaries, action items, minutes, slides, and input for speeches,
· Maintaining alignment and persistent channels of communication across the community of Executive and Technical Assistants across Airbus Group divisions, including those of the Divisional CEOs, Heads of Engineering and Heads of R&T,
· Setting up and managing a CTO dashboard to track overall CTO performance and progress of key activities,
· Supporting (or driving if necessary) CTO special projects (e.g.: steering new collaboration tools for the R&T community, developing facility plans for novel engineering-manufacturing work spaces, etc.),
· Acting as an ambassador for the CTO to the community of young aerospace talent within and outside Airbus Group.
Required skills
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
· Engineer degree in aerospace/aeronautical engineering (or equivalent),
· 3 to 5 years of experience in the aircraft/aerospace domain,
· Passionate about the aerospace sector with the ability to share and communicate your passion,
· Willingness to evaluate in the Aerospace Research and Technology domain,
· Attracted to and eager to learn about every domain of technology within Airbus Group,
· Negotiation level of English,
· Flexible with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment,
· Eager to learn,
· Assertive,
· Autonomous and organised,
· Excellent communication skills.
