Description of the job

A job is open within the Space System Cost Accounting team in France and in close collaboration with the Airbus Defence and Space Division Controlling & accounting team. You will join TFSBF department and be in charge of cost accounting for Space System in France, for CIS, for new projects.

This job is the opportunity for someone with an accounting background to gain a good experience in cost accounting and get a first insight on project controlling.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Working as proactive partner to all stakeholders, facilitating management decision making with financial expertise
·  Supporting BL controllers & TFDAF for IFRS 15 implementation
·  Supporting TFDAF for French statutory reporting: « annual closure, conseil de surveillance, rapport de gestion, commission économique »
·  Proactively supporting the ongoing initiative for French Legal Entities merger from an accounting perspective
·  Project control for projects transferred from former ST perimeter
·  Acting as a backup to other member of the Cost accounting team for allocated charges and Hourly Rate management
·  Interfacing with Airbus DS Consolidation, Controlling & Accounting Division, FAS shared services, Airbus DS BL F&C and Program lines/Project controllers, Cost Accounting, External auditors (Tax, Statutory accounts, European Commissions)

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Degree in Finance BAC+5 (Business school or equivalent), or accounting background
·  Experience: minimum 3 years in accounting or audit
·  Strong background in accounting rules and IFRS standards
·  Proven knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP/BW
·  Knowledge of FACTS would be an asset
·  Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills
·  English and French languages to negotiation level
