Description of the job

A vacancy for a Sales Contracts Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus. The successful applicant will join the Contracts Management (CCDA) department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Monitoring contractual obligations/deadlines and reporting any failure from any Customer to comply with its contractual obligations.
·  Ensuring all payment obligations (in million $ amounts) during the duration of the Sales contracts up to final payment at time of aircraft delivery, and managing credits made available to Customers.
·  Supporting the Business Units before signature of the contract (at time of Sales proposal, Memorandum of Understanding, etc.) and for the whole duration of the contract, preparing/agreeing on amendments to the contracts (other than amendments covering an incremental order) with the Customers.
·  Preparing and managing delivery closing, including: (i) preparing and/or collecting Airbus commercial and legal documentation, (ii) computing the final aircraft price, preparing invoicing accordingly and ensuring payment, (iii) monitoring the delivery process on legal, commercial, contractual and financial aspects, both internally and externally.
·  Ensuring current and accurate contractual information and data processing.
·  Representing Airbus for official and social events with Customers.
·  Establishing trustful and sound relations with Customers through daily contacts.

Required skills

You have a 5-year degree in Business and Administration or Engineering.

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competences:

·  Contract and Customer Management
·  Direct Customer Interaction
·  Commercial and Legal Experience/Background
·  International Experience is an asset
·  Strong communication and negotiation skills
·  Team player
·  Negotiation level of English.
·  Any other language would be a plus.

This role has been graded Band V (IIIA)
