Description of the job

A vacancy for a Capability Specialist for Nacelle Integration has arisen within Airbus Toulouse.

The successful applicant will join the department in charge of new Single Aisle developments. He/she will be a part of the Nacelle In-Sourcing project which consists in taking the integration responsibility of the Nacelle. The objective is to create customer value by improving the after-market and performances, and to prepare the future with the integration of a new nacelle as well. The impacted Nacelle is the one concerning the PW1100G-JM engine. A Nacelle includes Air Inlet, Fan Cowls, Thrust Reverser Unit (TRU), Thrust Reverser Actuator System (TRAS), Exhaust and Engine Build-up Unit (EBU).
The job holder will be in contact with five suppliers worldwide and Nantes / Toulouse St Eloi / Hamburg Plants and Toulouse / Hambourg Final Assembly Lines (FALs)
He/she will work with various stakeholders including Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement and Program.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Supporting and following up of Manufacturing Capability Document (MCD) written internally and by the suppliers
·  Being responsible for the Key Characteristics (KC) challenge and cascade from Nacelle KC to elementary parts KC, taking into account MCD's constraints
·  Supporting and following up of the Control Plan ran internally and by the suppliers
·  Being responsible for analyzing firsts results and driving corrective actions in Engineering and Manufacturing

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies.

·  Educated to a 4-5-years'degree level (or equivalent)
·  Experience in Manufacturing Engineering (at least 2-3 years of experience)
·  Knowledge of tolerancing
·  3D models and drawings understanding
·  Experience in project management
·  Tools: MECAmaster, CATIAV5
·  Strong communication skills
·  Stakeholders management
·  Assertiveness
·  Advanced level of English
·  French would be a plus
