Description of the job

A vacancy for a CAD Solution Architect (m/f) has arisen within STELIA Aerospace in Méaulte. You will join the Workshop and CAD Solutions domain within STELIA Information Systems.
You will interface will all the operational customers on the Méaulte site who use Workshop and CAD solutions: Industrialisation services (manufacturing engineering, programming and tools), production units, maintenance services, measurement and quality. As the jobholder, you will work with the Workshop and CAD domain teams, spread out over all the STELIA sites, on a daily basis.

As the representative for this field, you will ensure that Workshop and CAD solutions are run correctly on-site. You will functionally manage the local team for the domain (4 persons) and steer the subcontracted activity needed to conduct the projects.

This position will be for you a very good opportunity to be in contact with:

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main task and responsibilities will include:

·  Being the focal point for the Robotics and Structural Assembly Function within the Workshop and CAD domain. You will be a specialist on functions and processes and will assist the end user with the choice of solutions.
·  Contributing to the development and use of solutions and their revisions:
·  by suggesting improvements,
·  by participating with the management of ideas and proposals,
·  by participating with IS revision and adaptation projects,
·  by participating with operational acceptance.
·  Identifying the areas where changes to information systems are required to support the business plans and steer their affect in terms of change management.
·  Organising the collection of functional needs for the robotic and structural assembly and implementing a portfolio of projects on quality, performance, time, cost and safety.
·  Uniting and leading the relationships between the operational customers and the Workshop and CAD domain.
·  Suggesting improvements and revisions to the information system stakeholders.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies:

·  You have a 5-year degree in general engineering with a specialization in Systems
·  At least 3 years of experience with digital mock-up, Catia V5, and robotics
·  Experience in measurement
·  Experience in coordination of multi-functional teams
·  Solid knowledge of assembly and DMU
·  Solid knowledge of PLM products (Windchill, Delmia, etc.)
·  Basic knowledge of production management and Lean Manufacturing would be a plus
·  Ability to work within a multi-functional team
·  Good team spirit
·  Ability to adapt and organisational skills
·  Autonomous approach
·  Innovation and improvement-oriented
·  French: negotiation level.
·  English: advanced level.
