Description of the job
A vacancy for a CAD Accommodation Responsible has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the Department in charge of accommodation and design satellites.
You will be in charge of the technical aspects: component / equipment / mechanical / software level during the implementation phase, including responsibility for integration, verification and validation.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Delivering the design, drawings, schematics, prototype, SW module delegated to, as per Work Package description,
· Managing version control of various iterations if necessary,
· Deciding, specifying which analysis have to be performed and monitoring the execution of it,
· Drawing conclusions / recommendations based on the analysis performed,
· Ensuring testing and validation of the delegated Work package is performed,
· Gathering and maintaining all necessary documentation related to the delegated Work Package.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Educated to a 5-year degree level (or equivalent), in General Engineering,
· Experience in the field,
· Good knowledge in mechanical,
· Good knowledge in CATIA V5 and V6,
· Open-minded,
· Adaptability and good communication skills,
· Team player,
· French: advanced to fluent,
· English: advanced level.
