Description of the job
A vacancy for a Buyer Avionics System has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse You will join the team in charge of the Communication system, for the management of contracts within Equipment & Systems Procurement. You will negotiate and manage contracts.
You will manage the MFT alignment with Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer Services, for purchased products in your perimeter.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
· Contributing to Equipment & Systems Procurement and Programmes profitability,
· Supporting the System Commodity Leader by contributing to the definition of commodity strategy and ensuring that the associated action plan defined is implemented,
· Initiating, planning and executing cost reduction campaigns and projects in close cooperation with the MFT Leader,
· Ensuring professional supplier relationship management and running call for tender processes, negotiating changes requests, managing corresponding approval and authorization processes and ensuring associated ordering (NRC ordering and Master
Data management),
· Supporting the definition and implementation of supplier rating and development programs in close cooperation with PCY and ensuring appropriate follow-up of development measures
· In charge of the contract management, performing regular contract reviews in order to guarantee compliance between contract terms and conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier.
Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:
· Educated to 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school.
· At least 3-years' experience in a similar position
· Efficiency in project management
· Effective negociator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
· Ability to drive improvement & innovation to concrete results
· Proven in communication, especially with supplier representatives
· Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders
· Negotiation level of English
