Airbus Safran Launchers is a joint venture Airbus Defence and Space / Safran, starting operations on 1 January 2015. It brings together the expertise in space launchers of both Airbus Group and Safran, at key industrial sites, in France and Germany.
Airbus Safran Launchers' aim is to provide its customers with comprehensive and competitive solutions on an increasingly competitive market as well as to offer a new family of highly reliable, versatile and efficient launchers which meet the market's commercial and institutional requirements. It will build on the success of Ariane 5 successes, while focusing on innovation.
This position is opened in the frame of the project of the Second Phase of the creation of Airbus Safran Launchers. This project aims at bringing ASL from 450 employees to several thousands, with a scope covering military and spatial launchers. This project is currently in the preparation phase (including works council information/consultations).

Description of the job

A vacancy for a Business Developer Test & Services (f/m) has arisen within Airbus Safran Launchers, in Les Mureaux (78).

This position is a fixed term contract of 6 months.

You will be a part of the business nursery team, that aims at generating organic growth for Airbus Safran Launchers. Our mission is to value internal skills, in-house patents or industrial tools and to generate additional business for the company.

The maturation of our business opportunities is done with the ambition of developing new products and new services through direct contact with potential customers.
We are agile, we learn from our mistakes and we adapt ourselves if we need to.

Your mission will be to acquire new customers from green field up to order intake.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Creating marketing materials to tease potential customers about the products or the service offers we would like to promote,
·  Carrying out marketing analysis to identify industries which may have needs in line with our offers,
·  Structuring and carrying out prospection campaigns,
·  Involving R&D when technical support is needed.

The ultimate goal is to generate growth for the test and service product line.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Master's degree in Marketing (or equivalent),
·  At least 2 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities,
·  Advanced level of English and negotiation level of French.
