Description of the job

Airbus ICT (Information, Communication and Technologies) currently requires a Business Manager to join the Blockchain Product Team for the delivery of various Blockchain related projects across Airbus.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and activities will be the following ones:

·  Proactively identity Business issues that are addressable to Distributed Technology and Blockchain technology
·  Provide in-depth analysis of business processes and objectively determine value proposition for Blockchain use
·  Quickly structure & formalize engagement with Business owner through POC, Workshops and Project launch
·  Project manage solution deliveries by coordinating with Blockchain Architect, developers and various stakeholders including Legal team and Security team required and others required for solution delivery

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

·  Ability to understand and cope with technological ambiguities in order to deliver on attestable and non-ambiguous product deliveries
·  Prior experience in key business operations is essential, preferably in Customer services/Supply chain
·  Demonstrate active leadership and communication. The role holder will work closely with colleagues from across Business Lines such as Customer services and Supply chain and Functions such as Procurement and Finance at a global/regional level to keep the projects on track and delivering to business expectations
·  Prior knowledge of Blockchain (Basic level is acceptable)
·  Ability to work with Technology Dev team/Sub contractors to articulate business issues in the tech language and vice versa
·  Team work and team learning, and constant self-improvement for knowledge about Distributed Ledger Technology and Blockchain to stay ahead of competition
·  Good presentation skills

The position is graded Band V
