Description of the job

A vacancy for an Avionics Data Shared Resources Designer has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse, France

We propose a dynamic domain which is leading and contribute to ambitious transversal projects to provide digital solution and platforms allowing:

·  Airbus optimization of embedded avionics and development of services,
·  Airlines optimization of maintenance and Flight operations.

This role offers the possibility to act in an domain offering significant opportunities of innovation thanks to the connection of the fast evolving IT environment (portable devices, ground systems).

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

This open position offers the following opportunities and responsibilities which can be customized depending on the applicant's ambition:

·  Integrated Modular Avionics (Responsible for Hardware and Core Software evolutions) Prepare architecture dossiers in close relation with function owners and customers.
·  Define and lead R&T projects for preparation of the future.
·  Manage Suppliers.
·  Support certification activities.
·  Answer Production & In-Service support requests.

Required skills

Your Boarding Pass

·  Degree in General Engineering or Aeronautical engineering (or equivalent).
·  Strong interest for IT.
·  Proven experience and knowledge of Avionics systems.
·  Dynamism, proactive, autonomy and solution driven mindset.
·  Good team player with strong communication skills.
·  Curiosity and openness for change and continuous improvement.
·  Advanced level of English; intermediate level of French.
