Description of the job

A vacancy for a Quality & Compliance Monitoring Deputy Manager (m/f) has arisen within ATR.

You will be in charge of performing the different tasks of Quality Management and Compliance Monitoring Systems in order to ensure that authorities' approvals are not compromised and the ATR standards are being maintained.

You will be based in Miami.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks are the following ones:

·  Implementing and maintaining the local Quality Management/Compliance Monitoring System (QMS/CMS),
·  Setting-up and applying a survey plan to oversight local subcontractor's activities,
·  Providing metrics/analysis of the local training centre activities to the ATC Quality Manager,
·  Preparing and participating in local audits from authorities, customers and ATC Toulouse representatives,
·  Participating actively in the local regulations monitoring activity,
·  Supporting the local Deputy Head of Training for operational duties.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5-year or 3-year degree in quality or engineering/manufacturing
·  At least 3-year experience in an aviation training centre
·  Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, EN/AS 9100)
·  Experience with the EASA and FAA authorities policies and procedures (for Approved Training Organisation/PART 142 Training Centre, and simulator maintenance activities)
·  Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation. PART 147 would be a plus
·  Experience as a ground instructor or simulator engineer would be a plus
·  Understanding the functioning of an aeronautical training centre and the requirements applicable to this activity
·  Ability to create and deliver presentations to customers/authorities
·  Proficiency in MS Office (creating metrics, tracking and monitoring data)
·  Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
·  Detail-oriented
·  Team player
·  Problem-solving ability
·  Strong ability to manage time by effectively prioritising and managing the workload
·  English: fluent
·  French & Spanish would be a plus.
