Description of the job

An apprenticeship for a Facility Management Buyer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac.

You will join the facility management and site services France department, in which the teams are in charge of purchasing management for facility management and security. You will have to provide assistance to the team for its various purchasing missions, from market studies up to the contract steering, through the sourcing phase.

This work-study position will start on 4th September 2017 (date subject to some flexibility) and is for a duration of 24 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

The successful applicant will participate in:

·  The implementation of standard contracts for the entire supply chain regarding the protected sector.
·  The assessment of the performance of strategic suppliers through defined performance indicators (KPIs) in contracts and the implementation of corrective action plans.
·  The definition of the purchasing strategy for facility management activities, by leading research and communication actions on the market and by assisting with the initiation of comparative analysis actions with major stakeholders of facility management activities in France
·  The implementation of innovative purchasing techniques, such as e-procurement, e-catalogues, electronic signature of contracts depending on the needs of strategies.
·  The identification and implementation of actions to reduce costs in line with the economic objectives of the team through calls for tender, progress plans and support for request management with internal partners of facility management activities.

Required skills

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

·  3-year degree level in Logistics/Procurement
·  Excel: You are a proficient user of pivot tables and ideally macros
·  Familiar with the use of command-line interfaces
·  Advanced skills in English and French
·  Functional skills: Inquisitiveness, team spirit and good communicator
