The Airbus facility in Beijing is at the 8,200-square-metre Hua-Ou Aviation Training Centre & currently provides training to most Chinese airlines, as well as operators from Asia, Europe and other regions of the world. Since its establishment in 1997, the centre has trained over 24,000 professionals from more than 30 airlines worldwide, including pilots, cabin attendants, flight operations personnel, and maintenance and structure technicians.

Hua-Ou Aviation Training Centre is a joint-venture between Airbus and China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Corporation (CASC), located in a modern complex in Tianzhu Airport Industrial Zone, near Beijing Capital International Airport.

Tasks & accountabilities

This role will have successful candidates working as Simulator Instructors based fulltime at the Airbus Training facility in Beijing, China. The assignment will expect candidates to offer a 3 year commitment and provide a high level of airmanship and behaviour in a different culture environment.

Required skills

Candidates who meet the following Minimum Requirements are invited to apply :-

Minimum Requirements
Hold an ICAO ATPL License
Hold a valid Type Rating on Airbus A320 or A330
Hold a valid SFI or TRI Instructor certificate on A320 or A330.
Ideally qualified on both A320 and A330 but can accept either A320 or A330
Minimum of 8,000 hours as Pilot
Minimum of 4,000 hours on Jet Large aircraft
Minimum of 1,500 on Airbus FBW aircraft with at least 100 hours Pilot in CommandMinimum English Language Proficiency rating of 5
