Description of the job

A vacancy for an Aileron and Spoiler Designer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

You will integrate a design team to support drawing release, design improvement as well as concession answering. You will be have the opportunities to:

·  Working in a multi program and transnational environment,
·  Developping multi domain knowledge (Manufacturing/Stress/F&DT),
·  Working on all project phases, on the whole component and all domain related to design.

Profil recherché

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Creating design drawings and checking as well as concessions treatments,
·  Studying integration for component improvement,
·  Interfacing and frontier management as well as tolerancing studies,
·  Interfacing and communicating with relevant stakeholders (supplier, design expert, stress teams, interfacing partners located within Airbus UK and Bremen),
·  Providing relevant input for stress analysis study and supporting to other functions (i.e. production, customer service) as needed.

You will be in close relationship with stress experts and will be involved on transverse domain as manufacturing, material and processes

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

¤ Educated to a 5 years-degree in engineering or a related discipline,
¤ At least two years' experience in design,
¤ Stress background would be a plus, with strong willingness to develop multiskill (stress/design) aspect,
¤ Knowledge in the following tools: Catia, Hyperworks, Patran/Nastran,
¤ Communication skills,
¤ Good listener,
¤ Customer oriented,
¤ Attitude to work within a team,
¤ Solutions oriented,
¤ Advanced in English and French.
