AGC GLASS EUROPE
Based in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), AGC Glass Europe is the European branch of the AGC Group (Asahi Glass Co., Ltd), the world's leading producer of flat glass.
It produces, processes and distributes flat glass for building (exterior glazing and interior decoration), automotive (original glass and replacement glass) and smart screen applications.
OUR TECHNOVATION CENTRE
AGC’s Technovation Centre based close to Brussels (Belgium) mobilises its 300 researchers, engineers and technicians to:
- turn glass into a material meeting a growing range of needs (energy control, comfort, safety and health, aesthetics)
- engage in radical innovation with technological breakthroughs opening up new market opportunities.
Antibacterial glass, Glassiled Motion for dynamic facades, the Google jamboard for multitouch screens are just some of our latest innovations.
YOUR MISSION AS VIE:
You will report to one of our speedboat managers and will
- identify new market segments for thin glass specifically with real growth potential
- shake up our points of view, challenge the status quo
- allow us to speak faster, more efficiently or simply differently with potential new customers
Key responsibilities
- You follow the latest trends and evolutions in the market, analyse the existing product range and make recommendations for new market segments, new business value propositions
- You collaborate and integrate the knowledge and feedback from the organisation’s specialist functions, for ex research, marketing and production
- You analyse customer behaviour and needs
- You experiment with new products and services
- You develop relevant presentation material and meet with potential new customers
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for young marketeers (masters level) or commercial engineers with a go for it, can do attitude who like to make things happen.
- You are customer focused.
- You have strong research and analytical skills and have a talent for being a step ahead.
- You like bringing fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment.
- You have excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- You are good at collaborating with different people
- You take initiative and can work autonomously
- Innovation is in your DNA. You are curious. You understand how the world and customers evolve, and you translate this into new possible avenues or products.
- You are fluent in English and in French
