Adisseo is a French company (1700 employees) belonging to Chemchina Bluestar, a State Owned Chinese company. Adisseo is listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Nanjing plant called Bluestar Adisseo Nanjing Company (BANC) is the first integrated plant for the production of hydroxy-analog of methionine in China.
We are looking for engineers and/or Ph.
D. with a background of:
- Process Engineering degree
- Chemical Engineering degree
- Ph.
D. in organic chemistry or catalysis
Poste et missions:
Mission
A new R&D & Technology department has been created within Nanjing plant (BANC) in November 2015 and in 1,5 year, the team has grown to around 7-10 people with many projects at different stage (Industrialization, development, feasibility or exploration phase). In 2017, the team will grow and this is in this context that we our looking for Process and Chemical engineers.
The main objective of these positions is to lead R&D & Technology projects from the exploration phase to the industrialization phase
You will work within the R&D & Technology center of BANC where the missions are mainly to focus on reducing the environmental impact of our fully integrated plant and to develop new ideas which could lead to new process or new products for Adisseo.
Main roles and responsibilities
HSE
- Strictly comply with the HSE regulations in the Laboratory under supervision
- Propose HSE improvements.
Industrial support
- Ensure support to production team in order to operate processes in optimal conditions of HSE, quality and economic performance
- To respond to R & D & Technology services and requests
Projects
- Provide support to investment projects and continuously improve production processes to have the most competitive technologies
- Structure Projects Studies (objectives, resources allocated, delay milestones followed, reporting)
- Ensure extrapolation by acquisition of required data
- Provide the necessary support to engineering and industrial startups
Innovation
- Develop innovation and technological breakthroughs respectful of the principles of sustainable development in collaboration with academic and industrial partners projects
- Study opportunities for specific developments in China on Adisseo products or other products
- Ensure local technology scientific intelligence in the field of chemistry and process, including a local intelligence (China).
Communications
- All the related Chinese managers, benchmarking with European colleagues
- To communicate with the R & D teams and processes in Europe
- To ensure the relay between our European R & D & Technology referents and Nanjing engineer team
Profil:
You need to have at least 2 years of experience (requirement for a VIE in China https://www.civiweb.com/FR/le-volontariat-international/conditions-du-VIE.aspx; Ph.
D. is counted as 2 year experience) in the chemical industry or in process industry (an international experience during their studies or previous jobs is a plus).
You must be able to communicate with European teams and are willing to work in international environment within a Chinese team.
Working language is mainly English.
