Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

The SEO Trainee will support the global SEO team on multiple tasks.:

Key Responsibilities:

· SEO Education: You will support the members of the global SEO team in preparing SEO material (documents, reports, analysis and presentations) that will be used to share SEO guidelines across the organization.
· Reporting and Analysis: You may be asked to pull ongoing key performance indicators from available tools, compile and analyze the data in order to define key SEO issues/opportunities at a global, regional or local level
· Project management: You will assist the global SEO lead and full SEO team in managing and coordinating the current/future team projects (you will do so by managing project tracking tools, share updates and ensure shared visibility of tasks inside and outside the team)
· Onsite Optimization: You may be asked to support a number of onsite SEO enhancements (example: Technical changes, content/meta data enhancements…)
· Offsite Optimization: You may be asked to support a number of offsite SEO enhancements (example: Creation and analysis of link reports, creation and management of partners’ database, …)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

· You have a strong interest in Online marketing/eCommerce in general and Search Engine Optimization in particular.
· Good analytical skills (able to pull, compile data and draw actionable conclusions).
· Quick learner, curious, creative and driven (likes to initiate and take the lead on projects).
· Experience with creating your own website, blog or online applications (basic developer experience) is greatly valued
· You have the ability to follow directions as well as work well independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Education in business, marketing/e-commerce or Computer Science.
