Traineeship at the adidas

The purpose of this traineeship is to provide the trainee with experience of the practical application of theoretical knowledge the traineeship student has already acquired at university and to acquire new skills and knowledge. This traineeship description contains tasks and responsibilities that will be learned step by step and the trainee will be accompanied by adidas employees at all times. adidas International/ Marketing /Trading B.V. will ensure that the trainee is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the trainee and any educational objectives for the trainee period. The trainee will sign a trainee agreement, which is not an employment contract.

Purpose:

As a Digital Merchandising Trainee you will support the Digital Merchandising Team with the execution of our Digital Merchandising strategy, ensuring we’re adapting both our site & product presentation to the needs of our consumer base and in line with our wider business objectives for both adidas and Reebok.

Our goal is to evolve our Site & Consumer Experience so that when a consumer leaves our touch point, we not only meeting their expectations, but we are exceeding them - this role is key for delivering on this goal.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong commercial sensibility, and a desire to get hands on in both product presentation and consumer experience. You will have a direct impact on what a consumer sees and experiences on adidas.com and Reebok.com

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the execution of the digital visual merchandising strategy in your area on adidas.com and/or Reebok.com and adapt output to meet the needs of our local consumer and business.
· Drive sell-thru through ongoing improvements to our configurable toolset, with a focus on onsite search, sorting rules, product placement, evergreen content, page content, third party vendors and site configuration.
· Work with analytics on ongoing improvements to be tracked and validated on an ongoing basis.
· Work closely with Marketing Activation, CRM, Buying, Site Ops and SEO/SEM to ensure wider cross-channel campaigns are translating into tangible, logical site experiences

Your profile:

· Greaduated with Bachelor/Master degree focused on Business or Marketing within the last 2 years
· Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations
· Can-do attitude
· Willingness to support the team operationally
· Proactive, positive & collaborative mindset
· Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
· Ability to work in fast paced environment with different international cultures
