Purpose

Direct to Consumer (DTC) combines the important adidas sales channels with direct consumer touchpoints: eCommerce and retail stores. DTC in North American (NAM) has defined growth plans. Supply Chain Management North America Direct-to-Consumer (SCM NAM DTC) is committed to support and deliver against the defined road map in line with overall NAM and DTC goals. The purpose of this role is to create transparency about the availability against the DTC demand and strengthen actions with stakeholders to secure on-time-availability in adidas distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

· Full understanding of DTC supply chain processes in North America (NAM)
· Develop process understanding and knowledge of interdependencies between systems and processes, their impact on the ecommerce and retail brick & mortar businesses, and work to create and analyze solutions
· Support process reviews, improvements, and definitions
· Create and maintain process documentation
· Weekly monitoring of availability for DTC demand across all distribution centers looking at in-season and pre-season with special focus on footwear launches
· Monitor allocation status of retail orderbook
· Initiate transport mode changes, inbound prioritization, and store transfer requests to improve on-time availability (OTA)
· Identify OTIF / OTA gaps and monitor retail delivery date compliance
· Monitor on-time availability of purchase orders and take action, where necessary
· Own open order management for new stores and exception scenarios
· Work closely with key business partners to identify issues for non/late availability; define and track actions
· Fulfill ad hoc requests from Merchandising / DTC teams
· Coordinate and attend regular review meetings with all stakeholders
· Monitor data accuracy across systems
· Development and creation of reports/dashboards

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

· Reliable and motivated team player with thorough problem solving and communication skills
· Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills with business model simulation experience a plus
· System knowledge (SAP AFS, Microstrategy, MS office suite) with the ability to understand interdependencies between systems and processes to identify necessary changes or opportunities
· Good knowledge and understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes
· Good degree of consumer orientation (internal & external)
· Ability to think end-to-end and operate cross-functionally
· Fluent in English both verbal and written

Minimum Qualifications

· Degree from an accredited college with emphasis on the areas of business, logistics, planning, supply chain, information systems, or operations
· Minimum two years work experience in supply chain management
· Experience in the Retail/eCommerce industries
