Role : Surface Mount Operator

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm, Friday 08:00 - 13:00pm (Early Finish)

Salary: £8.72 per hour

My client is well established company looking for a highly motivated and determined team player. The operator will need to be able to operate a pick and place machine read and understand customers Bill of Materials, PCB drawing and any other build instructions.

Maintaining the machinery and looking after the equipment supplied. Checking each process of the build and make sure every board is built to a high standard.

Job Description

·  Setting up components onto manual feeders.

·  Writing programs on printers and machines for new jobs.

·  Getting oven profiles for new jobs.

·  Visual inspection of PCB's before and after reflow using our HD viewer.

·  Hand placement of SMT components.

·  SMT rework.

·  Feeder maintenance.

·  The operator will be expected to check own work and correct any issues.

·  Preferably knowledge of operating equipment such as DEK and Speed print printers, Philips TOPAZ machines and OPAL machine, ERSA Ovens

·  Previous experience is required

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 with 2 x 15-minute tea breaks and 30-minute lunch break.

Friday 08:00-13:00 with 1 x 15-minute tea break.

Overtime is available on Saturdays which is 08:00-12:00 paid at time and a half.
