Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a production operative for our client based in Hexham. This will be working day shift Monday - Friday.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our packaging team. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our packaging processes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

·  Operate and monitor packaging machinery to ensure efficient production

·  Perform quality checks on packaged products to maintain high standards

·  Assemble packaging materials and prepare them for production

·  Collaborate with team members to meet production targets

·  Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment

·  Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor

·  Maintain a clean and organised work space

Requirements:

·  Previous experience as a production operative, preferably in packaging

·  Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues

·  Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·  Strong communication and teamwork skills

·  Flexibility to work in different shifts if required

·  Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects
