Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity for an Insurance Account Handler with commercial brokering experience to join an amazing company in Stratford upon Avon.

Your role will primarily involve dealing with and servicing renewals of a portfolio of mid to corporate size accounts across commercial policy lines such as: Professional Indemnity, Directors' and Officers' Liability, Cyber, Risk, and Financial Lines products. You will aim to find the right cover for your client's products or risks that the organisation does not write by placing them in the external insurance market through our chosen providers.

Duties:

·  Work closely with Agency Network to advise them on accounts, cover, process and client risk information

·  Check and submit, or refer as required, renewal proposals, quotes, automatic renewals, policy documents and mid-term adjustments

·  Ensure completion and accuracy of proposals and meet criteria within defined timescales and authority limits

·  Ensure clients have the right cover, providers have full details regarding the risk and that there is a smooth process between the Agency, provider and client

·  Advise Agents, providers and Manager on accounts, cover, process and client risk information to ensure clients have the right cover

·  Process premiums and refunds to Agents' accounts in accordance with policies and procedures

·  Scan, sort and distribute post and paper documents from Agents and providers to maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic files

·  Administer claims information to providers on behalf of clients so that insurers are informed in a timely manner

·  Other activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager

Skills/Experience required

·  MUST HAVE a minimum of 3 year's experience and knowledge of commercial insurance brokering

·  Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a balance between quality of work and output

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships as you'll be working alongside internal and external stakeholders

·  Ability to pass sound judgement, comfortable making decisions

·  Analytical with meticulous attention to detail

·  Ability to proactively problem-solve

·  Strong team working ethic

·  Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above including English and Mathematics
