Adecco are looking for an exceptional selection of Cleaners to join or client for a rewarding summer project. Focusing on deep cleaning student accommodation sites in Sheffield, it will be your role to get the bedrooms, kitchens and apartments cleared and meticulously clean ready for the new tenants in September. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cleanliness and creating a spotless welcoming environment through good hygiene. We're looking for a cleaning specialist who will exceed client expectations, ensuring that sites cleaning specification is completed to the highest standards, on time and seamlessly delivered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Deep cleaning a daily allocation of accommodation units in line with site cleaning specification
* Providing continuous high standards of cleanliness while meeting and/or surpassing individual daily targets
* Ensuring quality assurance checks of work are passed first time
* Requirement to re-clean any areas that are identified to fall below required standards
* Carrying out daily laundry at on site facility to ensure continuous supply of cloths / mop heads
* Removing rubbish / non storage items to the relevant bin store or on-site storage facility safely and efficiently
* Identifying stock or equipment shortages and reporting to management
* Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe working environment for yourself and colleagues at all times
* Ensuing your equipment is cleaned down daily and stored appropriately
* Providing written and verbal feedback of progress daily to management
* Submitting accurate weekly time sheets for hours worked
* Acting in a professional and appropriate manner at all times
* Adhere to company policy, procedure, and direction at all times

Skills required

* Minimum of 1 years cleaning experience essential
* History of working within the student accommodation sector advantageous

* Ability to take clear direction and instruction from management while possessing self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
* Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and to strict deadlines without affecting quality of work
* Must be able to meet daily targets not compromising on quality or high standards
* Knowledge of use, technique, and method of cleaning products for maximum cleaning ability
* Ability to carry & handle heavy equipment and used in cleaning works
* Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
* Knowledge of proper storage and disposal methods for cleaning products and equipment
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part a team
* Must be a good team player never loosing sight of the combined effort and greater good
* Positive, can do attitude to ensure clients timescales can be met adequately without affecting consistent high standards
* Must remain cool under pressure
* Must be capable of adapting to changing deadlines, targets and tasks to meet client's requirements
* Must always remain professional and a role model for the company / team while on site

£9 per hour
Monday - Friday
9.30am - 4pm
30 hours per week
