Job description

Key tasks

You apply your unit's sales policy to develop and retain the customer portfolios for you area. You integrate, train and manage a team of sales representatives. You meet with customers: key accounts, difficult sales, training sales reps. You initiate specific sales actions in the zone, in line with the global action plan. You adjust the sales action plan depending on information provided by operations. You analyse and monitor market development: monthly reports, creating new dashboards, budget management... You are the key sales contact for the operations teams. You are responsible for reaching or surpassing the sales zone's quantitative targets. You ensure that the brands' sales offers are true to word and that standards are applied.

Essential and optional requirements

•Establish, maintain, and use his library of reference materials, periodicals, texts and sales leads; stay abreast of market trends and hotel selling techniques.
•Research the market on a continuing basis to determine where business comes from, what is the influence, who the hotel's clients are, how they normally arrive in the city, etc
•Maintain close contacts within the community and in neighbouring marketing areas, with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private club, professional associates, etc.. to procure new business for the hotel. This will be done by means of personal sales call (a minimum of 5 call per day), telephone contacts and written communication, and reporting daily basis thru daily report.
•Organize and promote, in cooperation with the Food and Beverage department, special project such as balls, tournaments, exhibition, Parties, Gastronomic Festivities etc to stimulate the Food and Beverage sales within the community.
•Coordinate with Front Office, Food and Beverage and Housekeeping Departement in handling of room reservations and customer's inquiries, requests and complaints. •Direct, supervise and administer all personnel below, to optimal sales and maximize hotel revenue, and profitability to achieved the budget.
