Essential and optional requirements

PERSONALITY AND SKILLS

- Efficient and friendly guest service, and willingness to provide exceptional guest service every time.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A 'can do' attitude, excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills.
- Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety .
- Manage daily administration tasks, such as emails, VIP cards and data entry.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

- Previous Reception or customer service experience is essential, preferably within 5 star Hotel environment.
- Knowledge of Opera or a similar property management system.
- A qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.
- Exceptional grooming & presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts ranging from 6:30am – 11:30pm, including weekends, public holidays.
- Full, clean valid New Zealand driver’s license is preferred.
