Key tasks

You handle all or part of the purchasing of the company's raw materials, products or services. You scout new markets, assess the capacity of suppliers to adhere to cost, deadline, quality and quantity requirements. You negotiate the best conditions, taking into account technical or commercial targets. You are the interface between suppliers, production, sales and research-development. You may have a team to manage.
As a purchasing manager, should work with suppliers to negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goods and keep accurate records of transactions trends.
Also to assist the Finance and Operational Departments in the monitoring, reporting and controlling of Cost of Sales in the hotel, including audit and control, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting etc.
Manage the purchase of all food and non-food items for the hotel through the company's key purchasing supplier and other key vendors. Forecast operational needs and schedule deliveries accordingly to meet the hotel's operational requirements.
