We are now seeking to recruit a Meetings & Events Executive. You will be part of a vibrant and fast-paced team, so you must have excellent organisational skills with a good level of written and spoken English with the ability to multi-task.

Meeting & Events Executive Job Description

The successful applicant will be highly organised, creative and sales driven.

As a Meetings & Events Executive we are looking for people who have:

• Previous meetings & events experience in a conference hotel or similar venue
• Respond to enquiries from agents/clients within time limit and in a professional manner.
• Practice efficient and effective yield management in line with guidelines and maximize each and every sales opportunity.
• Keep up to date on chases for events that are provisionally held – keep an open line of communication with agents / clients to encourage conversion
• Prepare contracts and ensure maximum conversion of all business taken
• To conduct show-rounds for existing bookings and for new clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure client receives a detailed event order in advance of their event.
• Produce and distribute weekly sheets listing forthcoming events.
• Receive feedback from the client during and after the event. Resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within guidelines issued.
• Ensure accounting procedures are adhered to at all times, obtain prepayments, reconcile and check final invoices and send to the client.
• Maintain strong market awareness through competitor site inspections
