Job Description

What you will be doing:

·  Overseeing the Hotel’s training needs
·  Assessing, developing and delivering training programs with a particular focus on Sofitel brand, service delivery and compliance
·  Performing needs analysis to identify training needs related to all the levels of the organisation
·  Fostering a learning environment and culture within the hotel
·  Providing on-going support to the leadership team on training related matters, policies and procedures
·  Preparing regular training reports
·  Manage financial and administration processes for training activities
·  Maintaining record systems
·  Driving continuous improvement initiatives of hotel operations, systems and methodologies
·  Responsible for the management, implementation and adherence of management systems effectively within the hotel in relation (but not limited to) risk management, compliance, work health & safety, sustainability

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Service focused personality is essential
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Ability to prioritise work in an environment with multiple interests
·  Confidence in training facilitation
·  Return to Work Coordinator accreditation highly desirable
·  Work, Health & Safety operating knowledge and experience
·  Competency using a variety of computer software
·  Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an asset. Hotel operations experience would be a distinct advantage
·  Proven experience in a similar role essential
