The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out allocated cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guest’s expectations in regard to the cleanliness of the room areas and non room areas, public areas and standards for back of house areas. 

·  Clean and service allocated rooms to Sofitel reference standards.
·  Clean back of house areas, and public areas, as required.
·  Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated
·  Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
·  Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
·  Assist guests with any requests for information or service they require. Refer any requests out of your authority to your supervisor.
·  Assist in providing our guests with turn down service.
·  Help with heavy loads
·  Assist the Housekeeping team through the delivery of all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work.
·  Ensure high standards of property presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.
·  Assist with the removal of rollaway beds and cots.

Work Experience

·   Previous experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star experience.
·  High level of physical fitness. This role has physical demands of lifting and carrying and being on your feet for the entirety of the shift.
·  Understanding of the needs and expectations of luxury guests.
·   High attention to detail.
·   High energy and positive can-do attitude.
·   Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays.
·   Organises time and work efficiently.
·   Reliable and punctual.
