Job description
Key tasks
Reviewing and implementing policies and procedures in relation to food safety and hygiene to ensure that we are achieving the highest possible standards in the industry.
Conduct regular training of F&B team members on safe food handling practices.
Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and according to schedules.
Maintain effective tracking of all related records.
Explore more advanced practices to enhance processes and improve quality.
Conduct food safety and hygiene committee meetings.
Work towards the achievement of a HACCP certification for the hotel.

Essential and optional requirements
Candidate must possess qualifications in Food Science, Safety, Hygiene (or similar).
At least 2 years experience in a similar position with knowledge of hotel operations.
Excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills.
Organized person with strong administration skills.
Knowledge of local government food safety regulations.
Solid understanding of Halal requirements.
Able to formulate action plans and diligently follow up on deadlines.
