Job Description

The position:

Reporting directly to the General Manager as part of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the venue's large scale Food & Beverage operations.

We are looking for a natural leader passionate in Food & Beverage who will inspire, innovate and empower those around them whilst being responsible for driving the financial success of the department with proven ability to lead a high performing team.

This role is instrumental to the Leadership Team of the Hotel as we continue to grow our business and provide a unique offering to our customers and team. With an eye for detail and a flair for creativity you will lead the team in providing a high level guest experience.

Responsibilities include:

·  Managing the Food & Beverage operations for our hotel. Including: Courtyard Restaurant, Olims Bar & Bistro, Bottle Shop, Room Service, Minibar and Conference & Events.
·  Co-ordination between the Food & Beverage team and other departments to ensure successful communication of all relevant information.
·  Preparation of monthly reports. Including: forecasting, budgeting and analysis of monthly results.
·  Stimulating customer-focused service and taking it to the next level
·  Taking ownership of all guest feedback and leading the change.

Qualifications

To be successful, you will posses:

·  Strong communication skills with well developed stakeholder management and exceptional organizational skills.
·  Proven experience leading large scale Food & Beverage outlets.
·  Proven track record of success in achieving revenue and sales targets.
·  Ability to lead, motivate and develop a successful team.
·  Unlimited working rights in Australia
·  Availability to work varied shifts; including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
·  Demonstrated minimum of 3 years experience within the hospitality, functions and events industry
·  Proactive hands-on approach
·  Current RSA & RCG certificates
·  A friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills
·  Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
·  Excellent standards of personal presentation and grooming
·  A demonstrated understanding of industry-related technology systems
·  Strong product and beverage inventory management skills
