Job description

Key tasks

Acquisition and Digital Marketing
• Increase of qualified website traffic to hotel’s web sites, in particular hotel micro-site
• Affiliation and Partnerships
• SEM campaigns
• Work closely with the partner agency on contracted channels

E-Communication
• Email Marketing to hotel’s database
• Coordination of content for E-Communication
• Ensure consistency of message and offers that are revenue generating and meeting objectives
• Proactively increase email database records from different departments
• Using in-depth analysis of email marketing results to increase ROI

Social Media
• Marketing on all Social Media channels respecting brand guidelines
• Propose innovative offers to bring additional revenue and verify monthly editorial calendar
• Use the Reputation Management tool to evaluate hotel’s performance versus the competition set

Online Distribution
• Manage the entire partner Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and brand website to maximize revenue
• Work with regional relays to participate in promotions on direct channels
• Maintain close relations with Market Managers of all OTAs to gather useful insights
• Update content on OTAs to enhance shopping experience for potential guests
• Implement tactical campaigns to ensure continued business in need period

Reporting and Analysis
• Propose improvements after in-depth analysis of direct and indirect channels
• Provide analytic reports of online sales not limited to room

Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
• Manage a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum production to meet set target. Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in timely manner.
• Prospecting new accounts and follow the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts.
• Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service. Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments, and confirmation to client.

Essential and optional requirements

Education / Professional experience
• Bachelors or College Level Degree in Marketing
• Proven experience in E-Commerce
• Knowledge and experience within the Middle East, preferred
• Experience with International Chain hotels preferred

Skills
• Strong command of English Language
• Excellent written communication skills
• Well versed in computer ( Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and notions of Web page construction)
• Strong knowledge in TARS
• Data base tools knowledge
• Organized, Analytical and able to react quickly
• Creative and Innovative with solutions
• Ability to relate to others on a business level
