Job Description

As a Cook, you will be at the forefront of our guests’ culinary experience. Our Chefs are passionate about developing innovative, focused, and thoughtful individuals that will use a guest-focused approach in all applications of their job functions, from planning service during pre-shift meetings and accommodating spur-of-the-moment requests, to all steps of food production and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of work areas. What you will be doing:  

Reporting to the Culinary Leadership Team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
·  Prepare and service all food items according to Hotel recipes and standards
·  Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
·  Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
·  Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
·  Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
·  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
·  Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
·  Previous cooking experience required
