What you will be doing:

·  Prepares, arranges, and serves all food according to the standard set by the Executive Chef.
·  Ensure freshness and suitability of products used by the section and that they are stored properly.
·  Works in cooperation with other sections.
·  Reports any equipment on the section requiring repairs and maintenance.
·  Controls costs by minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portion control.
·  Handles machines, furniture, equipment and utensils that working areas are kept clean at all times.
·  Attends training classes, associates meetings, and makes constructive suggestions for improvements.
·  Perform other special tasks as maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Diploma or Certificate in Culinary and a minimum of at least one year in the same role is an advantage
·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
·  Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
