Analyst, General Ledger & Labour Management Systems

This position will oversee and support Canadian and US Hotels in their implementation of Ceridian Dayforce's general ledger and labour management system mapping and testing ensuring all of the property’s accounting and labour management set up is complete and accurate.

What you will be doing:

Labour Management Systems

·  Educate property on Job/Dept/Position and the labour structure file and provide instructions and ongoing guidance to properties on mapping requirements and completion of mapping templates
·  Audit property templates, reviewing the mapping of Job/Dept/Position to the labour structure
·  Partner with Analyst, Payroll and Workforce Management Analyst to review the property’s proposed new Job/Dept/Position mappings and approve/reject proposalStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Incorporate approved mapping information into LMS to prepare for UAT (user acceptance testing)
·  Support the property’s LMS testing of the master mapping between Watson/Unifocus and Dayforce; employee data interface, hours & dollars interface and schedule transfers
·  Partner with Unifocus to update mapping in LMS production environment
·  Assist with trouble shooting during UAT (user acceptance testing) and go-live

General Ledger Setup

·  Educate and provide ongoing guidance to property on the G/L standard configuration including;
·  Pay Groups
·  Accounting and Organizational Structure
·  Journal numbers
·  Cost string groupings
·  Chart of Accounts
·  Month End Accruals
·  GL Exports
·  Assess and approve property requsted chages and execute any changes, updates, and additions to the GL set up as required
·  Review and deliver the property GL test file; support property through review of test file
·  Review final GL file prior to going live in production
·  Assist with trouble shooting during review of GL test file and during go-live
·  Adjust GL configuration in Dayforce as required during testing
·  Maintain the Accor GL Configuration document to ensure it is up to date

Your experience and skills include:

·  3-5 years' experience in Hotel Finance and Accounting
·  Experience using Dayforce as an administrator is an asset
·  Experience with Labour Management Systems (LMS) is an asset
·  Experience using MS Excel to combine, integrate, and review data  - comfort with the xml formal a definite asset
·  Ability to learn systems and processes quickly
·  Exceptional time management and project management skills
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
·  English, with French as a preferred second language proficiency

Your team and working environment:

·  Based at the North & Central America Regional Office in Toronto, Ontario, this position is part of a new Project Implementation team.
