Role Description

A Research Staff Member (RSM) at Accenture Technology Labs, brings value-innovation to Accenture's customers and to the cybersecurity community, tackling emerging and future cybersecurity challenges in the spaces of, but not limited to, DevSecOps, containers and applications, IoT vulnerability discovery, insider threat, user behavior analytics, intrusion detection and management, forensic and privacy.
As a subject matter professional, the RSM collaborates with, and acts as a bridge between, Accenture global security practice, academia researchers, and the cybersecurity startup community.
The RSM mission is to invent, innovate, and implement first-of-a-kind cybersecurity technologies to be delivered to Accenture's customers by Accenture's security practice.
The RSM's research results in the form of working prototypes, patents, proof of concepts, authored papers and blogs, and other demonstrable artefacts, are aimed at solving customer's problems and potentially be presented at academic or commercial conferences. The RSM participates in client discussions from early stages, eliciting requirements, adapting to rapidly changing customers' needs, and finally, transferring the research results to the engineering organization for further maturing.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Data Sciences
• Proven tenure and experience in cybersecurity. Experience in security operation is an advantage
• Proven tenure and experience in developing in Python and/or Java over NoSQL DB, in a Cloud environment
• Proven ability of self-education and rapid learning of new technologies
• Superb people skills and team work spirit
• Location: Herzelia, Israel

Preferred Skills
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning knowledge and experience, preferred Python over TensorFlow
• Experience and desire to develop demonstrable proof-of-concepts created with new technologies, integration or organic innovation.
• Proven creative ability in a problem-solving environment
• Experience structuring a project and matrix-wise leading global development resources
• Client / military experience in cybersecurity within the past year
• Published papers in academic journals or conferences
