JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quantum Applications Manager, you will be responsible for developing quantum accelerated applications to solve business problems using leading Quantum technology frameworks while leading a quantum applications delivery team. You will focus on applying the right quantum algorithms to solve valuable business problems. You are expected to be hands on while guiding, mentoring, and leading more junior members of the team. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science
·  Team and people management driven through metrics with leadership
·  Experience with software engineering standards and practices with Agile and milestone-driven project management
·  Minimum 3+ years of hands on development experience in a multi-tier architecture with the following skills:
·  Understanding of Machine Learning or optimization techniques for industry applications management
·  Programming Language: Higher level language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
·  Data exchange technologies like JSON
·  Experience using and building algorithmic based API's or Microservices to build cognitive applications

PREFERRED SKILLS
·  Master's degree in Quantum Physics, Quantum Theory, Quantum Mathematics, or Computer Science
·  Experience with Quantum Toolkits (1QBit's QDK, IBM's Qiskit, D-Wave's Qbsolv, Rigetti's Forest/Grove, Microsoft's Q#, etc.)
·  Knowledgeable about gate model quantum computation, algorithms, and applications
·  Knowledgeable about quantum annealing computation and applications
·  Skills applied towards software development principles, covering various design patterns and performance profiling and tuning
·  Experience working with underlying technologies such as HPC (High Performance Computing), GPGPU, Containers and Cloud Computing environments
·  Experience designing and building RESTful web services
