Job description

Defense Point Security, an Accenture Federal Services company, has immediate opportunities for Security Specialists in Washington DC, Arlington, and Greenbelt as well as other DC Metro areas.

Positions may perform Splunk Administration to Architect responsibilities. Also multiple positions for Network Security Engineers with strong Linux experience.

Other Security Engineers may perform appliance and Next Gen firewall design and installation, O&M for SOC tools including incident response and tracking system, NIDS, SIEM, Log Management architecture, DLP, Forensic tool suites, Vulnerability Assessment scanners, and many other SOC tools.

Diverse Network Security positions open, specific duties will depend on applicant's background and areas of interest. Opportunities include Cloud (AWS) Security SME, Network Security Engineering & Architect roles, Splunk SME, Cyber Defense/SOC, Information Assurance, Penetration Testing, Linux root administration, Python security automation scripting, and other Cyber Offense / Managed Detection Response SME roles.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

·  Must be a US Citizen
·  Bachelor's degree preferred
·  Mid-level to Sr. level, hands-on leadership positions available
·  Min 2+ years of technical experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving complex information security issues.
·  Min 2+ years of hands-on experience with one of: network engineering, Splunk, Incident Response, Security Engineering, and/or Intrusion Detection on an operational network.

Preferred

·  Experience with tools such as BigFix, Tenabile Nessus, WebInspect, DbProtect, RES, Nessus
·  Firewall experience with Cisco ASA and other firewalls.
·  McAfee, Endpoint
·  Splunk or Tanium
·  AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
·  Chef, Ansible and/or Terraform
·  CyberArk, RSA Archer
·  Practical knowledge of federal IT security laws, regulations, and processes
·  Proven ability to meet schedule and performance requirements for IT security project
·  Applicable certifications, including: CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, CASP, CEH, CCSP, MCSE, Security+

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
