Accenture Federal Services is currently seeking a Nessus Security Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
· Conducts Operations and Maintenance and configuration management for all SOC tools.
· Provides security engineering, integration and implementation of security tools for the SOC.
· Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, man-machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
· Performs analysis, design, and development of security infrastructure for a Department-level SOC.
· Performs O&M for SOC tools including incident response and tracking system with a focus on Tenable Nessus tool. Other tools may include NIDS, SIEM, Log Management architecture, DLP, Forensic tool suites, Splunk, Tanium and many other SOC-tools.
· Conducts troubleshooting of mission-critical system issues on a 24x7x365 basis.
· Supports adhoc requests, the remediation of scan results, troubleshooting of failed scans and supporting a continuous monitoring program
· Research and support implementation of new security tools and scanning techniques as necessary
· Creation and management of security tool SOPs
· Brief technical and non-technical management personnel on cyber security issues, vulnerability scanning issues and security tools maintenance
Profil recherché
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of related experience exercising the skill set previously listed is preferred.
· 5 years of experience in IT
· 2-3 years of experience using Tenable Nessus and Security Center to perform vulnerability analysis and perform moderate System Administration.
· Experience in system administration, database administration, network engineering, software engineering, or software development, with a concentration in Cyber Security. Knowledge and experience with a federal change management process
· Experience with enterprise vulnerability scan administration, Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity Framework
· Experience with STIG configuration requirements
· Preferred Security certification such as: CISSP, SANS GIAC, Security+, GCIH, CEH or similar industry certification
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
