In this high profile role, you will be responsible for targeted Hospital accounts and their key stakeholders such as: Nutrition Services, Nursing, Quality, Materials Management, Physicians, and nutrition-related task forces and committees. You will be responsible for providing current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Abbott products, and effectively communicating the clinical and economic benefits. The primary role of this position is to execute strategies to drive sales and expand product market share of Ensure brands and specialty products.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

•Full ownership of acute care accounts

•Responsible for executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals.

•Ability to work closely with District Manager and interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan.

•Must prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment.

•Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials and clinical studies to effectively communicate the clinical and scientific benefits of Abbott Nutrition products to targeted healthcare professionals.

•Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities.

Basic Qualifications

•· Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

•Clinical/Healthcare experience is a plus (RN/RD) but must have strategic account planner experience

•Selling skills across a wide range of Health Care Practitioners in Hospital setting/environment

•Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape.

•Nutrition industry practices knowledge.

MISC:

Travel: 10% -- (2-3 meetings a year) - regional meetings, annual sales meeting, district meeting - no overnight travel required

Territory: Minneapolis is the base city, up to Duluth (candidate can live anywhere in the greater Twin Cities Area)
