Sales Engineer - Oil and Gas, Iran

Job description

Tasks:
In this role, your main responsibilities will include;

1. Drawing up and implementing Sales and Marketing plans for Process Automation (OGC) clients in country.
2. Offering advice and recommendations to the customer base for oil & gas related performance solutions. Conducting customer presentations / seminars / business forums as required.
3. Market analysis in terms of trends, size and needs.
4. Customer and competition analysis (SWOT).
5. Capturing green field opportunities (End Users and EPC prospects) and championing the populating and drive the “mining” of ServIS for service business opportunities.
6. Generating evolution / upgrade / retrofit programs for specific customers and work with / advise other service team members on retrofit programs as required.
7. Providing details of the full portfolio of ABB Oil & Gas solutions and products.
8. Identifying sales / service opportunities for other products from ABB.
9. Retaining / growing service contracts in country.
10. Providing information to bid support group for customer proposals.
11. Promoting Training services to customers / feed back to Training Department.
12. Working closely with other Sales Engineers and Account Managers to identify service sales / training opportunities.
13. Operating as a team member.
14. Preparing sales account plan for each identified key customer.

Desired profile

Requirements:

As the ideal candidate, you will have Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or similar, Sales / Marketing qualification is an advantage, Minimum 03 - 05 years in Oil & Gas environment, with sales experience, Must have previous knowledge of performance based solutions / services / products, either from a user or vendor perspective, Understand Value Based Selling.
