Tasks:

- Provide support and advice to our internal clients with a good technical level, work on a frequent basis on multi-site with international teams
- In a stimulating multi-cultural environment that encourages professional development, you will quickly assume part of the implementation of our traction transformer design tool used globally
- Establish interesting and varied interactions within the local ABB traction transformer business unit with mechanical, electrical and sales departments, in order to implement a client dedicated solution
- Manage different tasks in the design project to handle interactions with CAD tools, develop in Matlab our electrical design rules, and do VBA programming, in order to improve the design process and the efficiency of the tool
- Starting from initial client contact, throughout the technical work itself, to completion of a good documented implementation, you will work in a result oriented manner

Requirements:

- Bachelor studies in Electrical Engineering, Software Development or IT
- Interested in software development with Matlab and algorithms
- Basic electrical engineering and transformer design skills would be a plus
- Programming know-how
- VBA, Access, Matlab knowledge
- Business level in English, French considered an advantage
