IS Voice and Video Subject Matter Expert - ABB - Kraków

Job description

Tasks:

• Provides backend support for Skype for Business Online (part of Office 365);
• Provides support for Skype for Business Online PSTN Conferencing (integrated with BT MeetMe or MS Conferencing Service);
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Lync Room Systems based on Polycom/SMART/Crestron
• Maintain Cisco/Tandberg based IP video infrastructure within large corporation (about 1100 devices);
• End-to-end configuration and troubleshooting of video controllers (VCS-C) and expressways (VCS-E) from Cisco;
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Telepresence/Tandberg/Polycom Endpoints via TMS system;
• Taking part in PoCs regarding implementation of new Microsoft Online Service in Communication area;
• Acts as touch point between British Telecom (Audio vendor), Cisco (Video vendor) and the O365 Operations team;
• Automating tasks using PowerShell scripts including testing and documenting;

Desired profile

Requirements:

• 3 years+ hands-on technical experience operating Lync/Skype for Business in a global environment;
• Superior understanding for Business Voice / Video gateway configuration and concepts of Lync / Skype for Business;
• Familiarity with SIP/H323 protocols;
• Ability to perform simple analysis of sniffer output;
• Experience in working with Telepresence systems like VCS, VCSE, TMS, MCU, ISDN gateways or CUCM would be really beneficial;
• Ability to create PowerShell scripts;
• Familiarity with Unix systems would be an asset;
• Cultural awareness and the ability to work in a complex, multicultural and global team;
• Good experience in IT operation based on ITIL process, solid knowledge in incident/problem/change management;
• Fluent spoken and written English.
