After Sales Engineer

Tasks:
We are looking for an After Sales Engineer at ABB Oy, Marine and Ports unit in Helsinki. You will be working in the Propulsion Products Services department that supplies spare part related services to the customers. In this position, you will be handling spare part inquiries and preparing spare part quotations especially for Russian customers. You will be working with end customers and ABB internal stakeholders including supply management, project management and technical support.

Your responsibilities
• Spare part sales for dedicated customers varying between single spare parts and complete spare part sets for dry docking projects
• Proactive customer support concerning spare part services
• Developing the quotation-order-delivery process

Desired profile

Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a technical field
• A few years' experience in industrial maintenance or spare part services
• A basic understanding of the after sales business
• A basic knowledge of the main components of the Azipod product
• Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter and SAP, and readiness to learn new tools
• A customer oriented approach with good team working skills
• An energetic and spontaneous approach to work
• Systematic, punctual, independent, responsible and flexible attitude to work
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Finnish
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
Ideally, you have
• Proficiency in other languages
• Experience in reading technical drawings
