We are looking to hire a Assistant Finance Manager to be based in Bangalore.

Job Summary:

· 
This will be a non-traditional controllership role where in addition to strong accounting concepts a person needs to have an analytical mindset and exhibit intellectual curiosity.

· 
Following are some of the key responsibilities:

· 
Effectively managing the P&L, streamlining and innovate different processed across the organisation.  Ensuring correctness of P&L by monitoring month end closure activities and entries

· 
Collaborating with team members and gain the expertise required for critical analysis and use the same to improve financial results.

· 
Reviewing strategic restructuring business cases for Unilever Business Operations; ensuring compliance to policy and good practices.

· 
Monthly reviewing spends made against restructuring projects and providing assurance to key stake holders on the quality of the spends.

· 
Review the outliers related to control health matrix, drive corrective actions and lead monthly review calls with Finance Director

· 
Using expertise to execute strategic initiative and provide reports to leadership more efficiently and effectively. 

· 
Identifying potential areas to create operational efficiency, leverage technology and automate manual processes. 

· 

Key Requirements:

Must Have Skills:

· 
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience

· 
Chartered Accountant, MBA

· 
Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, Internal Control

· 
Strong presentation skills and ability to persuade key stake holders.

Good to have skills:

· 
List the desired skills Ability to work independently & lead assignments to closure.

· 
Ability to multi-task

· 
Bias for action and growth mindset
